- My name is Paul Sandwell and I run a dance school named Wimbledon School of Freestyle and Ballroom. I teach adult dances classes in Ballroom and Latin dancing, Line Dancing, Disco Dancing, East Coast Swing dance, West Coast Swing dancing, Zumba fitness dance classes. The people who come to my dance classes in Wimbledon are a variety of ages from 16 to 68.
My Wimbledon, Southfields and Earlsfield ballroom dance classes are mainly for people who want to learn to dance from scratch. Wimbledon School of Freestyle and Ballroom is located at Wimbledon Park just on the border of Southfields and Earlsfield. Many people who come to my dance classes think they can't dance, but with the right encouragement they all make great progress. Ballroom dancing is a great way to get fit, learn a new skill, and exercise to music without really being too aware it is exercise.
Swing dance classes at Wimbledon, Southfields and Earlsfield cover all the styles of Swing dance. These Swing dance styles include East Coast Swing (ballroom jive), West Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, Jitterbug, Balboa, Shag and other Swing dance styles. Swing dance classes at Wimbledon are lively, joyful and happy. Swing dance is a great way to start your dance journey.
Wimbledon Zumba classes are held in two locations - Wimbledon Park and Denmark Road Wimbledon. These venues cover the areas of Southfields, Earlsfield and Raynes Park. Wimbledon Zumba fitness is a great way to get fit, dance to great latin and international music vibes and join the Zumba dance party. Zumba is pure joy with a unique vibe. My Wimbledon classes cover Zumba music genres such as salsa, reggaeton, merengue, cumbia, punjabi, K pop and many other types of Zumba based international music styles.
Wimbledon line dance classes are held at St Luke's Church Hall, Wimbledon Park which is on the border of Southfields and Earlsfield. Line dancing music is a combination of Country and Western with other alternative music styles added in to add flavour to the class. Line dancing is fun, relatively easy and very sociable to make new friends. My Wimbledon line dance classes will teach you to dance a number of line dance routines.
My 70s Disco dance classes are a great opportunity to learns disco style. Classes are friendly, fun and keep people fit of whatever age. Although based at Wimbledon Park, I get pupils coming from Tooting, Morden, Mitcham, Richmond, Putney and New Malden. I teach some old style routines in my class to classical disco music and some more up to date routines to some more modern music.
I also teach couples their first dance/wedding dance when they get married and give private lessons to anyone wanting a one-to-one session in any of the dance styles I teach.

Tuesday Disco 19.00 to 20.00
Tuesday Ballroom beginners 20.00 to 21.00
Wednesday Line dancing 19.00 to 20.00
Wednesday Swing dance 20.00 to 21.00
Thursday Zumba 19.30 to 20.30
Thursday Ballroom beginners 20.30 to 21.30
Also at the Club House Gym (Harriers Hall), Denmark Road Wimbledon Zumba Thursday mornings from 10.30 to 11.30 am.
All classes are drop in, weekly and £10 per session.
Classes are for adults. Everyone is welcome even if you have not danced before.
